A professional musician , singer and educator for many years, Richard has extensive experience with students of all ages and levels. Richard will cater to any musical style, beginner to advanced.
His guitar method books "Modenomics I " and "Modenomics II " is in common usage amongst student jazz enthusiasts, making the leap from intermediate to advanced levels.

Nick first picked up the guitar at the age of 10 and began taking lessons immediately with Toronto-based guitarist & Beach Music Studio Faculty teacher Richard Smyth.
After attending the University of Toronto earning Double major for English & Philosophy, Nick decided to pursue a degree in music- at Humber College where he currently attends and has studied with Kim Ratcliffe, Ted Quinlan, and Reg Schwager.
Nick currently produces, plays sessions, and gigs with local Hip-Hop and R&B artists, with some of his works being available on music platforms such as Apple Music and Spotify.
